VARSINE®
Static Reactive Power Generator

VARSine® is a static reactive power generator (SVG) designed to compensate for reactive energy consumed or generated in real-time by inductive or capacitive loads. It's the ideal solution for power factor correction in applications where the load varies rapidly (such as resistance welding, arc furnaces, refrigeration or compressed air compressors, etc.) or in networks heavily polluted by harmonics. It is designed with the latest generation of high-performance IGBT technology in a 3-level topology:

    Standards:
    • EN 62477-1(2012)
    • EN 61439-1 (2011)
    • EN/IEC 61000-6-4, Class A

    Description

The VARSine® Series Static Reactive Power Compensator operates on a three-level topology circuit. In addition to improving power factor, it provides energy quality solutions such as harmonic elimination and load balancing. It’s available in three versions: a wall-mounted enclosure version, ranging from 20kVAR to 100kVAR, a rack-mountable version for installation in standard 19” cabinets, ranging from 20kVAR to 100kVAR, and a cabinet version, ranging from 100kVAR to 400kVAR.

Its modular design allows users to easily achieve the desired reactive power by connecting up to 20 modules in parallel.
